How does Straand help my hair?

Treating the skin on your head as well as you treat the skin on your face, hair has a better chance at thriving by focusing on removing product build up, grime and balancing the biome. In tending to your hair through crown care, your scalp microbiome becomes a fertile ground for hair to thrive and grow, while renewing root hydration to give hair serious gloss.

What is a scalp microbiome?

Just as our gut has live bacteria (AKA ‘microbes’) so does our scalp. With its own unique ecosystem, the scalp is host to a range of microbes (from bacteria and fungi through to environmental toxins) that live on the scalp’s surface and feed on sebum (your hair’s natural oil). A balanced scalp microbiome is one where diverse bacteria work together as a team to strengthen the skin’s surface layer and create a habitat for follicles to thrive and roots to grow into healthy Straands.

Do I need to use the whole STRAAND system to see results?

Nope! But we do recommend using at least 2–3 steps together for the best results (think: pre-wash + shampoo + serum). Every product is effective on its own, but they’re designed to be even more powerful as a team.

I have psoriasis/eczema/sensitive skin. Can I still use this?

Most STRAAND products are suitable for sensitive skin as they are free from sulfates and parabens. But if you have conditions like psoriasis or eczema, we always recommend a patch test first and consulting your dermatologist or doctor to be safe.

Are STRAAND products safe for colour-treated or chemically treated hair?

Yes! All our formulas are sulfate-free, colour-safe, and gentle enough for bleached, dyed, or keratin-treated hair. They help restore balance to stressed scalps without stripping your strands.

    Simply wow, simply Straand.

    I am lost for words at just how much change has happened and I’ve only used the products for 2 days, I am on the verge of tears with just how confident I feel now and to be able to put my hair up without loads of dandruff, the best feeling, the first time in my life, one finally found a product that does exactly as it says, also the mask is AMAZING! I am always usually very skeptical but can say that Straand is an absolute winner!

    Great product

    Really does what it says it does, have seen a noticeable difference since the first use. I can go up to a week between washes now when used to barely make it a day, I have barely even needed to use the additional spot cream to help with itching because this product keeps my head free from oil and itch. The blonde foils in my hair maintain their colour much longer too unlike other anti dandruff products that strip the colour out. Didn’t buy the subscription at first because I wanted to try it but I’ll definitely set up a regular order now I know how good it is.

    Could not recommend enough!

    After many failed trials of different brand shampoos and conditioners (brands incl. pureology, Alfaparf Milano, nak, muk, De Lorenzo, ect), I decided to purchase the ultimate routine bundle to trial. I honestly wasn’t expecting any results due to only washing my hair once a week at most. However much to my surprise the hair care range has actually worked and completely fixed my scalp from what I think may have been dandruff or psoriasis. I purchased my products in July 2024 and I’m sad I didn’t track my results properly. I think it may have taken approx. 5 months for the results to kick in properly, being consistent washing my hair once a week at most. I originally loved using the THE CROWN FIX SCALP SERUM to help my scalp itchiness and dry irritated patches on my hair line that was visible in a ponytail, but I honestly can’t even remember the last time I used it. The only products that I use now is the shampoo, conditioner and CROWN COMPANION CLEANSING PRE-WASH SCALP OIL, because of how well this range has fixed my scalp. I will continue to make sure I have stock of all the products in case I have any more scalp issues in the future. I am extremely happy with my purchase and am surprised how well it has fixed my scalp to the point where I don’t even use half the products anymore as my scalp is healthy now.
